The City of San José Planning Commission and the City Council are scheduled to hold public hearings on proposed changes to the Zoning Code to streamline processing of Wireless Communications Antennae modifications for collocation on towers or building roof-tops pursuant to new Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. This proposal is PP15-014 -- revise the permitting process for certain modification to existing wireless towers.

If these changes are approved, the Wireless Communications Companies (e.g., Verizon) can mount more antennae on existing wireless towers w/o the needing of public hearing and city approval any more.

Please do the following actions:
1. Send emails (a sample email) to San Jose planning commission and council members to oppose item PP15-014 (revise the permitting process for certain modification to existing wireless towers). Their emails are listed below.

2. Call council member Chappie Jones at 408-535-4901 to express your position to the proposal PP15-014.
3. attend Wednesday's meeting and speak out your strong oppositions!
