FUHSD board members and superintendent:

The reason we heard from you for Verizon's cell tower installation in Lynbrook and Cupertino high are:
1. Help students get better signal to do homework and online research in schools;
2. Emergency communication. We've analyzed it in the email of 04/13/2015. This reason doesn't make sense at all. We don't waste time on it today.

Let's talk about #1----help students do homework and online research. Do students really need cell signals to do homework and research at school? For schools without cell tower, how can students do homework? On 01/13/2012, FUHSD announced this news:

In this article, it says: "In response to the increased use of wireless networking FUHSD upgraded the entire wireless system at all 5 high schools, the district office and Adult Education facilities. The  new systems will provide blanket coverage at all locations, eliminating the "dead spots" that existed throughout our campuses. The new system uses state of the art 802.11N system with enterprise quality Cisco wireless access points and a centralized management application."

According to your announcement, in all FUHSD schools, there is no "dead spots" for wireless networking coverage. So all FUHSD schools have good  Wifi signals efficient enough for homework and online research. Then what is the point to install cell towers in schools? Why do students spend money to purchase cell company data while there is free Wifi available which is more efficient and stable?

We don't understand how a people with normal logic will believe these two reasons of installing cell tower. If any of you never analyzed these two reasons before, we analyze for you in this email and email on 04/13 (emergency communication). We are sure a person with normal IQ and logic can not believe these two reasons as they sound like nonsense. If anyone insist either reason is true, we do doubt his/her ability to be qualified as a school district trustee as she/he probably doesn't have logic.

Please put this into the public record.
